ID this black cichlid?

Got it from my brother he said it was sold as a bumblebee cichlid...

Looks like a dominant male pseudotropheus crabro to me, but i'm not good with mbuna. beautiful fish by the way.

Yes, a "Bumblebee cichlid" is the common name for Ps. crabro, and dominant/older males will stay dark most of the time. Younger crabro and females are black and yellow striped, hence the name. Older males lose most of the yellow markings and even develop some hints of blue like yours has. They can get pretty aggressive, so you may want to keep an eye on that one. http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=845

Thanks to both of you! Just wanted to be sure. So far he stays in his spot and doesn't bother anyone, hopefully it'll stay that way.
