This is an interesting question. From what I hear the cockatoos love snacking on shrimp, but I have no experience and therefore no answer. How big are those shrimp?

Well I have adults and juveniles so everything from just hatched to 1", I was thinging a with the leaf litter bottom that it would give them a real good hiding spots and the manzanita im using should provide good cover too.

I have A. sp. Schwarzkinn (same size as A. cacatuoides) together with glass shrimp in a heavily planted tank and there seem to be no problems with the adult shrimp at least . As long as you have a large enough number of shrimp in the tank some shrimp fry should alwaysmake it, so you should be able to maintain the population.
