Lake Malawi Species • 2" copadishromis holding?

what size can a capadichromis start holding...I've got some 2 inch Copadichromis mloto fluorescent in with some 1.5-2.5 inch Placidichromis phenochilus just growing them out, and it looks like one of the Copadichromis is holding...unless it's got something else in its mouth? I'm very confused...this seems way too small.

I've had Demasoni hold at that size. Not sure if Mloto can hold that small. I would investigate by opening her mouth with a toothpick and taking a peek.

Turns out she was holding and released 11 (could have been more) fry in a holding tank while I was on vacation.
