Can I call a large rock a Pebble? Unsure about that but anyway.....

I have selected 3 very large Pebbles approx 36" long each & i'm off on monday to the local stone mason's to see if he can cut the stones & shape them for my new set-up. Im doing this to make the stone look as though it runs deep beneath the sand like in Lake Malawi!

If anyone is interested, I will post details of how, what & when as soon as it is done Thumb

Dan

Not to mention the noise and mess. Besides the blade on on angle grinder is only about 3-4 inches in diameter with a cutting depth of only about 1 1/2 -2 inches. I am assumong the "pbbles" are larger than that.

if you want to turn hard edged stones into smooth river rocks then you need to use one of those motor driven tubes that tumble the stones over several weeks into smooth pebble like stones.
