How to setup a festae tank?

Ok guys I recently acquired two used tanks,a 125 an a 150.Finally I can try some terrors.My questions are for a breeding setup what should I go with as far as substrate an if i get 6 to 7 juvies in hopes of a pair will I be able to sex them shortly?Any advice on breeding/raising festae's would be greatly appreciated.
