33g filter

Postby xatsta124 » Fri Jul 06, 2012 1:27 am

I have a 33g gallon filter with live plants and 5 cories and firemouths in it. I have a fluval 106 canister and a aquaclear 30. I dont feel like it polishing the water the way that I want so I am looking into upgrading the HOB filter. SHould I get a ac 50 or ac 70? or maybe a fluval c series? I dont want fish being blown around, or plants. But i dont want any dead spots either. Help me out

I would probably go with an AC70 myself. You could add some filter floss or poly batting above the sponge filter in the AC to catch any fine debris the sponge doesn't catch.
