I was skeptical when I first started using this food, but most fish will devour it from the first feeding! It stays solid with minimal clouding for most fish. In my heavily stocked tanks they will cloud for a few minutes as they wrestle and shred at it, but even that clears up quickly as they pick at it.
Fish from Frontosa to Boraras brigittae will eat this formula, nibbling and chewing away at the chunks you drop in their tank. It is wonderful to watch fish eating until they are full with one appearing to be bloated from gorging on dry formulas, or still thin and obviously not getting the food they require due to the gluttons taking it all.
Mixing it up is not nearly as time consuming as it sounds and well worth the effort in the end result. Fish love it!
