"Easy to use, safe secure hiding place."
I got one of these for free and gave it a friend for a turtle tank. I later got another one for free again and added it to my Tang tank and my lucipinnis love it. A master breeder in the GCCA swears by it.

"HIGHLY recomended for tall tanks"
my non dominant EBJD loves it, everyone uses it throughout the day.

it works really well, just give it some time in your tank like week-2weeks if they dont use it right away, came to the tank one morning and saw a fish sleeping in it, since then that fish has looked more secure for sure....

I've had one of these for a while now and I had to secure mine to a corner of the tank since it floated around the tank too much until anchored. Since anchoring it to a corner, my holding females use it to find refuse from the amorous males. My fish took a long time to accept it, but now they use it regularly.

"A little cheesy...but it works!"
I used this tank when I had to break up aggression between spawning cichlids. It did the trick! I recommend you secure some plastic plants such as fake cabomba to the opening in the "branch" - only after I did this did my cichlids accept the log. They frequently rested in the log, and a few times I caught my P. socolofi actually sleeping in it at night. So, if you can stand how it looks, your fish will probably like it! My only qualm is that since it is made of painted resin, some of the paint has come off - it isn't really noticeable though. Do try it if you feel the need to add some "surface territory" to your cichlid tank - or any tank, probably!
