On several occasions I have purchased various Cyprichromis leptosoma Kitumbas, microlepidotus Bulupint, and BuluPoint Sattelfleck----(EXTREMELY RARE Cyprichromis). His fish are vibrant and healthy. If you buy young adults, they will breed immediately, which is a sign that the stock is healthy. His featherfins are gorgeous and the Cyprichromis are the best I have seen. If you're looking to buy Tanganyikan cichlids, he is definitely a breeder and importer you will be happy to have found.
I bought 18 Kitumba Congo Fronts and 12 WC Ikola Tropheus from Tom. The fish arrived via air cargo. Even though I bought 1.75-inch fry, the fronts are a nice blue. The Ikolas are very large with very large wide yellow bands. Tom provided great customer service and was prompt in his response to my questions. The transaction was smooth and business like. This is the way business should be conducted. I recommend Tom highly and will do business with him again. Quality stock, quality customer service, and does what is promised. Great overall transaction.
I had never bought fish from an online breeder & was VERY leary about doing so.
Purchased 8 Kitumba Frontosas (4 @1.5" & 4 @ 1.75 ") from Tom's Tangs that arrived in early February & had been waiting for the weather to send them since December. Tom was pretty nice & helped me through the process. The Fronts arrived in pretty good condition (from what I could tell.) Lost one in 10 days, but the other 7 are doing well three months later & growing rapidly. Overall I don't think that I can complain & I'd consider doing busines with Tom again.
I have ordered 3 female WC Kitumbas from Tom. Within 2 months all three females had dropped tubes. I have dealt with Tom several times, only to be amazed at the quality of his fish, and outstanding service he provides. He's extremely knowledgeable, and very friendly to work with.
His fish room has some of the nicest stocked fish i have ever seen. Frontosa, like always are simply amazing.
Being that I am a local hobbyist near Tom i was able to witness the care he puts into his fish room. It most definitely shows in his selection of some of the most finest, rarest fish. Highly recommend this retailer.

Bought some O. ventralis juvies from Tom and they came in nice as expected. These were packaged well - the shipping company even damaged the box bad enough causing a bag to leak, and the fish still arrived alive and are doing great! All arrived in great condition. Great guy to deal with!
Tom has the best fish room with the most rare Tang. stock that I have seen. Tom gives solid advice & is very experienced with Africans. This is my second purchase from him & the fish are in excellent condition.

Ordered more cyps/featherfins from Tom again. Was extremely surprised at size and coloration. He understates his fish size and all fish were healthy as could be. Even if I don't NEED something, I always end up checking out his website as I can always make room for more great Tanganyikans. Thanks again, Tom.

Had large fish order- Toms tanganyikans sent wrong frontosa on purpose- first said it was a mistake then said he sent them because he did not have what I had orderd. Probably hoped I did not notice ,then replaced my order with fry- not what I had purchased- This is not a reputable seller -Beware
I ordered fish from Tom again because I know that his fish are of excellent quality and from an outstanding stock. Not only that, but I know Tom is a genuine and trustworthy cichlid enthusiast and someone who will help you out if you have any questions. A pair of my Reganochromis that I got from Tom last time have already bred and Tom gave me expert advice on how to raise them. I am definately going to order from him again in the near future and I am so glad I befriended someone like him.
